I have had some concern with the economy having an effect on electronics. I was worried that companies might start to fold making it difficult to find parts and supplies that I might need. I just read today that Philip's sales are up 12% in the global market. I would say they are alive and well.

Good to hear. Following on from your post topic, I think a good strategy when investing in new equipment would be to check out the financial health of the manufacturer.
