Does anyone know how good the outdoor speakers are from Bose? We are redoing our outdoor patio and want to add a sound system out there. We have an inground pool and that would be a very nice touch when we are finished with the yard makeover. They will also come in handy for our backyard parties for the summer time.

I'd assume they're fine but expensive, much like the rest of their gear ;)

I have Niles outdoor units that I'm happy with.

I generally trust Bose quality, but like Brian said, I'm sure they are pretty pricey. I'm sure you are going to enjoy your backyard with a setup like that!

They are a bit pricey but this is the first time we are splurging on our home and like I said it will be a nice addition to our backyard pool area. I also seen those speakers that look like rocks to blend in with your backyard landscape. Are those any good?

There are multiple brands of those type. There are also outdoor speakers that look like planters.

Do you just want something that looks nice or do you want them to blend in (or both)? I just did a quick google search and there are so many types its almost nutty. I would never attempt something like this, just looks weird. :)
