I think that would be great if more old quad mixes were released like this. Chicago's one of my favorite bands.

I notice that some of the audio clips are mislabeled at the site - I believe "Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is" is listed under "Beginnings." I found it interesting being able to hear the instruments isolated in front and back mixes.

I'll have to pick this one up down the road just for the hi-rez two channel. I lot Chicago too. Their sound, however, at least in the early stuff was the result of their producer, James William Guercio. If you done have a copy, get yourself one of the Buckingham's "Portraits." You'll think it is Chicago on most of the stuff (and it was years earlier). I had a roomate in college who was a Chicago fanatic and I convinced him I had a a Chicago bootleg. You may be able to find a copy of a 2 albums on a CD at places like Collectors Choice Music - ccmusic.com. It used to have "Portraits" and "Time and Charges" on one CD

They actually call what I have "Made in Chicago" now - http://www.ccmusic.c...itemid=EVA80192 tracks 11 and after are the original "Portraits" album and 1-10 is "Time and Charges."
