I recently purchased a Panasonic SC-PT770 unit. I am trying to get it to be a basic receiver, yet, I cannot output audio through any port other than the HDMI. There is an AV output on the back known as the AUX out...and the component video (yellow cable) comes out okay, but I cannot get the audio out (Red/White). I have a cable box that I output HDMI to my Vizio TV, I have an digital optical cable that I connect from the cable box to the SC-PT770, I have an HDMI cable output from the SC-PT770, and these all work. What I also need is the ability to output audio from the SC-PT770 out to an input of Red/White, which is input into a speaker system that I had installed throughout our house. But no audio comes out. I have gone into HDMI settings and turned AUDIO off from HDMI, thinking it might toggle the audio...but that did not work. I have tried 2 (TWO) different SC-PT770 units so far and neither seems to work. Is there a special configuration I must do that I am not aware of?

the tech specs only show 1 input/output and that is the HDMI everything else is just an input the draw back to some HtiB systems had you gotten a Receiver and speakers setup this wouldnt have been an issue because a receiver also is a distribution center
