This is actually pretty cool - the TH-BA3 soundbar features a wireless subwoofer, along with wireless rear satellites. We might finally be seeing a reputable soundbar system now that JVC is including rear speakers with the deal.

I'd be interested in hearing that system. I've never knowingly listened to a wireless system, and I keep wondering if they'd be comparable to hard wired systems, both for possible interference and other loss of quality.
Has the technology surpassed those hurdles?

With this kind of setup, where do you think is the best area to place the subwoofer, is infront or at the back? I guess I'm more interested with the sub-woofer than anything else in the setup.
How far is the range could the wireless sub and speakers go? How does the wireless parts being powered anyway? Sorry if I'm so dumb about new products.

The wireless works pretty well, though you still have to wire the rear speakers into the receiver. They should give more depth of sound and the surround feeling that soundbars struggle with.
The sub placement is dependent on the space. Try for a corner if you can. This one doesn't have tremendous power though.
